Travis & Susan Larson - Owners and Operators of Wilderness Beach Lodge, and Alaska Premier Sportfishing. Together we pride ourselves on the personal, professional service we offer. Now entering our third decade of operating as Homer and Kodiak’s premier long range fishing and hunting service we are excited to have you as our guests.
Justin & Tina Adams - Six year veteran and now a licensed captain and local Homer hometown hero Justin has played college hockey at Franklin Pierce University. He is currently the Assistant Coach for the Aspen Leaves and was former asst. coach to the West Sound Warriors in Bremerton, WA. This past summer of 2015 he married his longtime sweetheart Tina and we welcome her as part of our crew/family here at Wilderness Beach Lodge.
Josh Pitta - Josh is a seven year deckhand and also a newly licensed captain for us. Josh played junior hockey in Spokane Washington and spent the past few winters studying Athletic Training at Bridgewater State University. In Josh’s off time you can find him playing at the lodge and finding all the secret fishing spots.
Richard Lucason - AKA Luke, Second Captain for a few fishing trips and all of our deer seasons for the past eight years. If you have hunted aboard the Venturess with Alaska Premier Sportfishing you probably know Luke. Luke is a retired fireman from Fairbanks, and now spends his time fishing, hunting or soaking up the sun in Hawaii.
Cheryl Lukin - Cheryl has been with WBL since the beginning. Along with her husband and family she has spent 27 years in Port Lions. Cheryl is responsible for all meal planning and preparation. Cheryl is truly the glue that keeps things together at WBL. Once you experience a week of Cheryl’s expertise in the Kitchen and her irreplaceable knowledge of rural Kodiak you will agree that lodge life just would not be the same without her.
Our boys: Robby, Micah, JJ and Andrew. All four of our boys work with us at both the lodge and on the Venturess with Alaska Premier Sportfishing. They love meeting all the new clients and are eager to help you, process your fish or take you on a wheeler ride around Port Lions.
