Ness’s jam scones

2 cups bisquick
¼ cup margarine (soft)
2 TBS sugar
2/3 cup milk
¼ cup jam

Glaze:
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 TBS warm water
¼ tsp vanilla
Mix until smooth

Grease cookie sheet lightly.  Mix Bisquick and sugar with margarine until crumbly.  Stir in milk until dough forms.  Beat 15 strokes.  Drop by rounded tablespoon about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet.  Make a shallow well in the center of each drop with the back of a spoon.  Fill with 1 tsp jam.  Bake 10-15 minutes until golden brown while warm drizzle with the glaze.  Yield is 1 dozen Danish.
