Key Lime Torte

Cake
1 pkg Cake mix, yellow or butter recipe
2 T lime juice plus enough water to make 1 cup
½ Cup soft butter
3 eggs

Filling
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
½ c lime juice
2 Cups whipping cream

Mix cake ingredients, pour into greased and floured cake pans.  Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.  Remove from oven, cool 5 minutes.  Remove from pans, Cool Completely.

Mix milk and lime juice well.  Beat whip cream till stiff peaks form.  Reserve 1 cup of whipped cream for garnish.  Gently fold milk mixture and whipped cream together until just blended.

Cut each layer of cake in half horizontally, layer cake and filling alternately, ending with filling on top.  Pipe remaining whipped cream, garnish with lime slices if desired.  Cool in refrigerator at least 2 hours.  Serve, store in refrigerator.
