Cheryl’s Famous Halibut Lasagna

6 TBLS butter
1 ½ pounds halibut
2 garlic cloves
¾ teaspoon thyme
1/3 cup flour
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy whipping cream
8 oz lasagna noodles
2 cups shredded cheese
Minced parsley

Bake halibut, cool, and shred with a fork.

In a large skillet over med heat, combine the butter garlic, and thyme.  When mixture is sizzling, add flour and stir into a Roué.  Add broth and cream.  Bring to a boil.  Layer noodles, halibut, white sauce and cheese; two layers of each.  Sprinkle with parsley.  

Bake 350.  Keep covered for 20 minutes; bake uncovered 20 minutes or until bubbly.  Let set for 10 minutes; slice and serve.
